Hooray for Summer Heat!
The older I get the more I appreciate the warmer weather and yes even sometimes the hot hot humidity.
I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July. We had a great day with grandkids, watching the parade and watching
the fireworks.
Are you thinking of Christmas. Well I have some goals in mind, for gifts. I will keep you posted on
whether or not it gets done. It seems far away, but I know I have to get started or life keeps me from getting things
done.
There is a quilt show in New Era MI at the New Era Christian School on Friday and Saturday sponsored by the Friendship
Quilt Ring Guild.
Jill from Quilted Memories will be hosting her annual Show in Montague Mi during the Cruzin days. Which is
the Last Friday in July. Look for the Log cabin on Old 31 in Montague.
The Grand Haven Light house guild sponsors a Quilt show during the Grand Haven Coast Guard festival.
So maybe if your creative juices need a kick, get out there and check out some of the shows.......or maybe the
new pictures here on my website will get your creative stitches sewing.
The economy in MI is still very tight and there are still a lot of people out of work so remember to share your
bounty with someone who is in need. You won't have to look far to find that someone.
