April showers brings May flowers. I am thinking GREEN.
Yes I said Green. Not just for Spring, but for conserving our planet. So I am going to try and start recyling
all of those needles, rotoray blades, and pins. I started a jar, for myself and depending on the response from
some of my customers, I will put a jar in the local fabric shops. You are welcome to mail them to me and I will be sure
and recyle them. NO Plastic heads please.
Well as I said Spring has arrived, even though some places in Michigan are going to get 9 inches of snow.
UP only, rain/snow mixture today, but that is not so unusual for Michigan in April. The taste of the warm weather, had
me outdoors and thinking of turning all those pictures I have into quilts.
What about you, what are you working on, or what have you completed over the Winter months. E-mail me and let's
share with me and others what exciting things you have been doing.
Our group " Quilters for World Relief" have been busy doing the Underground Railroad blocks, and tying many quilts for
charity over the Winter months. Didn't join us this year but want to next year, not to worry, we are still meeting
the 3rd Saturday of the Month. We will still be meeting April and May. We take a break in the Summer and start
back again in the Fall., in September the 3rd Saturday from 10-2., at Faith Lutheran Church in Whitehall, MI. Bring a
sack lunch and beverage of choice. We have a great time with Christian Fellowship, learn a new block or work on a quilt
of our own and tie quilts for charity that we all help put together.
Have you been up to Fabric Quilts Scissors shop in New Era, they have some great sales going on and many new kits to
try out.
The prices have been updated and hoping gasoline will level out for all of us and I won't have to change these prices
for a while.
Look for new "eye candy" that my customers have been brining to me. The picture page will be updated soon.

Roger loved his lap quilt, and I had enough time to do another one because this is such a fast quilt to piece.
I made my brother one for a gift exchange with an Airforce and fishing theme. I think he really liked it.
I have quilted many of these from quilt kits that Fabric Quilt Scissors sells and they all turn out different.
