Hi everyone! Welcome to our web site!
Summer is just around the corner, and we are already having heat and humidity and along with that severe weather and
flooding. So we will be sure and keep all our friends in our prayers who have been experiencing this.
While the weather has been problematic for many, my flowers in my garden love it and I wish I could paint a picture
of what they look like, but alas I am no painter so I will just quilt it.
Remember to think green and mail those used needles and pins to me
to recyle.
In order to satisfy my customers and keep up with the ever changing price of shipping for the batting and backing that
I carry, I have made some changes to the batting size and types and the cost should be a savings for all my customers.
I will carry 80/20 Hobbs natural in 96" wide rather than the 110" and I also will be carrying Dream Poly Request
122" wide white. I also will be charging by the linear yard rather than the square yard, which will give you a little
savings in your wallet and a little extra batting if you don't quite need all of what you paid for.
Not sure what to do with the extra batting. One suggestion is to donate it to your local quilt guild.
They will piece the batting for their baby or charity quilts. I also roll up my batting after I have measured the piece
and tie with leftover strips of scrap fabric and write the measurements on the fabric. It makes it easy for me if I
have a project I can use it in or it easy at a glance to those I donate it to, to tell what size it is.
I have been very busy quilting "eye candy" for my customers, I love all of the quilts. I am trying
my best to update the pictures so check back often.
Have a great Summer and remember "Quilting will keep you in stitches!"
